I should have finished writing about the last few day's in Switzerland and my trip home a long time ago. Instead I let the time go by and now I am busy again.
I will do my best to write it as much as I remember.
I was so excited to finally be coming home to see my family, I missed them so much. I started to pack a week in advance i didn't want to leave anything behind but more than that I couldn't wait to get home. I don't mean to sound like I am ungrateful its just four months is a long time for someone who is a home body.
Two day's before I left I got to go out on the town with the girls we had a blast we got to shop and we went to a movie theater is was very neat. I will miss the girls a lot, they really helped to make life easier here.
Then Curtis and Ami took the family out for a last dinner before I leave and to see the town at night. It was interesting cause we didn't end up eating anywhere nice instead we ate and McDonald's. I am glad we went out though any time spent with the family was precious.
The flight home was quite an experience. The whole family took me to the Airport, and we hung out until I had to leave. It was sad leaving them I will miss them so much. The experience was like nothing I have ever had before.
I had to fly to Chicago first then catch a flight to Washington DC and then catch another flight to Rochester. Well my flight to Chicago was on time, but it took forever for my baggage to come through, and by then I had missed my connection to Washington. I then lost an hour of my time but they told me they would work it out so I wouldn't miss my next flight. All was going well I boarded my flight on time but then we waited on the run way for half and hour. Well didn't have half and hour to spare so again I missed my connection from DC to Roch.
By this time I almost lost it I was so frustrated I was supposed to be home by now and I was stuck in an Airport, cause by that time it was too late to fly out.
I got to sleep in a hotel room all by myself that was kind of fun. I decided not to worry about and just go with the flow. I got up early and took the earliest flight I could.
I can't tell you how exciting it was to walk threw the doors and see my family waiting for me, even my dog was there.
What I learned is God always has opportunity's for you just around the corner, you just have to be willing to take a step of faith into the unknown.
